QUEVEDO. En febrero del 2023 serán las elecciones seccionales, donde la ciudadanía volverá a las urnas para elegir alcaldes, concejales, prefectos, presidentes de gobiernos parroquiales y vocales.  

En Los Ríos hay 13 cantones y 17 parroquias rurales y el abanico político empieza a aflorar en todas sus instancias. Por lo que nuevos partidos y actores aparecen y se preparan para garantizar su participación en los futuros comicios. 

Surgen movimientos

Hace unos días se anunció la creación del movimiento ‘Poder Fluminense’ liderado por Connie Jiménez, una joven ventanense ganadora del título Miss Ecuador 2016 y que ha sido candidata en varios comicios previos. Ella forma parte del grupo de coordinación del actual asambleísta de Los Ríos, Marco Troya, el mismo que es coordinador del movimiento. 

Troya fue alcalde por tres veces del cantón Valencia y en dos ocasiones prefecto de Los Ríos, ganó una curul en el Legislativo de la mano de Ecuatoriano Unidad (lista 4) y ahora forma parte de los independientes en el Parlamento. 

Durante la presentación se pudo observar bases sociales desde Febres Corderos (parroquia rural) hasta Patricia Pilar (Buena Fe) de la provincia de Los Ríos. Estuvieron presentes exalcaldes de varias contiendas políticas, presidentes parroquiales y concejales actuales, donde empezaron a recolectar firmas con aspiraciones electorales.

Consigna

La consigna del movimiento fue ‘juventud y experiencia’ y Jiménez en su discurso resaltó que será un “espacio para los jóvenes líderes en conocimiento y que deseen absorber experiencias con la intención de mejorar el futuro riosense”. No se conoce la ideología. 

El ambiente político y el camino para alcanzar los comicios electorales, sin duda, ya se siente en la provincia, serán una de las elecciones más importantes que definirá el futuro del país en unos meses. 

‘Discretamente’ afloran nuevos partidos políticos de actores conocidos, en las calles de Quevedo ya se pueden observar vallas propagandistas con miras a las próximas elecciones.
